Upper Canyon Investment Properties

We are very proud to be working with a company as talented at the Upper Canyon Lodging Company LLC. We bought our first nightly rental commercial property in Ruidoso, New Mexico (Canyon Cabins) in January 2022. At first, we intended to transition them into long term rentals (which is my niche market). We were well guided by the owner of UCLC in the differences in business strategy. Canyon Cabins is now the most popular and highest performing cabin set in the Upper Canyon area. The cooperative effort that we have enjoyed made us able to purchase another nightly rental commercial operation in 2023 (The Enchanted Hideaway) in Ruidoso. They helped to increase the revenue through effective marketing and professional management. Then, in May of 2025 we purchased a lodge in the Upper Canyon area (Black Bear Lodge).

UCLC LLC has not only helped us grow, diversify and operate our portfolio – they did it in the face of all kinds of adversity. They manage all three of our locations steadily with professionalism and elasticity.

I purchased a cabin in the Upper Canyon last June. After staying a few times, I thought it would be great for a short-term rental when my family wasn’t using it. I was on the hunt for a small two-bedroom cabin in the Upper Canyon area of Ruidoso, and UCIP really came through. Robert and Amanda kept an eye out for the right place with potential that needed a bit of work—exactly what I was looking for.
